OK.....so after being pissed off about my rims looking like this:

I decided to go ahead and paint 'em.
Here is my sad attempt at taping them off......nothing else worked because I didn't have a big enough lip to fit anything in there, and nothing would stick to my tire (too much tire shine
).

Also spotted Highend while we were at All Aspects dropping off my husbands car:

My husband is outside right now as we speak putting clear coat on to make them a little more glossy......I'll post the final product later.

Looks good. What paint did u use?? Also did u paint the back side or just the front?? Im getting ready to paint mine as well and i was thinking bout goin with the duplicolor black.. Or that color u choose. Where can u find that paint color at???
We only painted the front of them. I really didn't care how the rest of it looks.....just the side you can see
Oh. Ok. Wasn't sure if that was the dupli-color graphite or not.. Im still stuck between graphite and black.. Also wat kind of prep did u do.. I was thinking bout sandblasting mine since my neighbor has a sandblaster... Or did u just sand, clean, and paint???
It depends. I heard it is good to sand them down but then I have heard that you don't really have to. I think to get the best results you should sand them......but I didn't do anything, just cleaned and painted.
If you go to the Duplicolor website it says to scuff them up......but not necessarily sand.
