This is much worse because its fraud. (If i remember correctly its a felony if done for fraudelant reasons. i.e, to sell for more value, keep warranty valid) but i could be wrong. Anyway the consequences are severe so i'd stay away from it if i was the OP. Or he could listen to your retarded ass and wind up in a lot of trouble.

put bitch on a tow truck and drop it off. probly cheaper to miss work for a day and pay a tow truck then it would be to go over milleage and get fucked on work. But if they are like anyother dealership they will find a way outta fixing it one way or another

dealerships are open on saturdays and they have early bird drop off i think you want to just discont it so you can drive it for a year and sell it as low miles.

Are you and I the only one's who saw him comparing swapping a cluster so you have a tach to stealing work from a dealership?

Get fucking real if you think they're one in the same.

If I worked to much to be able to drop a car off at a dealership Id be baller enough to pay stuff out of warranty

And when people swap clusters they usually keep up with the miles if they ever plan on selling it. I.E.: 145,XXX miles on the chassis, not cluster

do what u gotta do dude. as long as your not trying to fuck anyone you have my blessings. especially on the whole warranty thing. i say this also because ive been fucked by the jeep dealer for this exact problem. i talked to them told them i didnt have the time that early in the week to have my axles seals replaced my trans serviced and my clutch checked out an i was 120 miles from my warranty. they agreed sence i talked to them about it over the phone to let me use my warranty that friday when i got a day off and when i got there i was 60 miles over and they acted as if they had no clue what i was talking about. and said there was no manger by the name of Jim Carpen at that location

EDIT: this could save you big bucks fuck the nuts who are to scared to break a few rules now and then to make things happen. its your wallet not theirs. you have the info you need now go for it
Well fuck...maybe I'm just the asshole but when the OP has another thread(search for it...I don't fucking feel like it) talking about either doing work to the car or getting rid of it and the car that is mentioned above is also mentioned in that thread as having "high miles and the rings are gone."

Hmmm...that would sure as fuck sound a siren in my head when he's also talking about stopping the odometer to get warrenty work done. I mean I've heard of extended warranties but one for 9 years and untold miles?

It's people like you that are leading this society into the shitter.

It's called honesty and integrity. Look into it.

But that's exactly the mentality of most of the idiots on here.

But I'm just trying to make a point. I see a lot of fucking people on here that modify their cars and then bitch when something breaks and they have to pay out of pocket. If you can't afford to fix it, then something is wrong with your priorites.

My case in point...a bearing in my blower snout went bad in Nov and it cost me on the good side of about $2K to fix it. It sucked, but I didn't bitch about it.

I see the point you were trying to make, but was it necessary to make a note that you have a cobra, and you are so ballin you were able to void the warranty in such a short period of time? That is all i was referring to. But like i said i noted the point and agree, just think you could have left the last statement out and still achieved the same.

not only that, but most cars, when the cluster is swapped along with the odometer, the title is rebranded "not actual miles" when the new owner titles the car.
