Default Open practice?

I was reading the calender for VIR and noticed a few "open practice" dates. Does this mean anyone can go out and drive the course before actually racing on it or what? Thanks in advance.

No, "open practice" is usually only for racers for an upcoming race.

You'd need to have a race license, or in some cases, proof of significant related (i.e. graduated through the instructed school programs) experience first. You can start getting that experience with this group:

and/or this group:

Hope it helps,

Jon
