its not really a dune buggy, the motor's in the front, it sits very low to the ground, and its also a kit car.
i've seen the car many times in videos but never caught the name of it, its on few of the mischief videos.

this is probably what you saw
from talking to the guy, i dont remember the exact power, but i remember hearing something like 366hp , and the thing weighs 1100lb
