Go with the civic, you'll have less hassle. Engine swaps are probably easier and cheaper, you're less likely to get yourself killed because its fwd and slower, and parts are plentiful.

Also if you change your mind about the ls thing, by the time you save up for the swap, ill be in the salvage game. I can get you a complete b18a1 swap for very cheap, which would be your best bet right now, seeing as how you're tight on money.

240 RD is always better but you dont need to do a SR swap the KA is a great cheap and easy to boost motor. SR is over rated.
