Unfortunatly so. I carry a Taurus .357 magnum in my car for such occasions. Just make sure you are ready to use it...worst thing possible is to think it works well as a scare tactic. All guns do is up the anti (sp). If he's packin' also, whoever shoots first wins, shoot to kill. It sounds bad, and shady....but dead people dont talk. If you're the only one alive, you make the story.

theyll get sloppy soon. too over confident, and when they pick the wrong vehicle with more than two people in it, the next day youll read about bodies and bullets and have someone yelling "THERE WAS A FIRE-FIIIIIGHT!"

 

 

what do you do? drive around with the gun in your lap? if i carried a gun and someone had another to my head i wouldnt try to go for mine. would you and take some lead to the head?

 

it's easier to SAY what you'd do in a situation like this than to actually know. But you're pretty much spot on...

 

i just got done watching dazed in confused and when they went bashing on mail boxes and that guy caught up with them they were scared shitless and when he finally put it away and then they did something. so im just using that as a ref.

 

A lot of times I drive around with my pistol on the passenger seat because it's uncomfortable to wear it while buckled.

 

I drive around with my gun right next to me sitting next to the ebrake lever at all times just so I can have quick access to it. I'm also usually aware of my surroundings, ESPECIALLY at night.
