a few weeks ago a few friends and i went to see a show at a place in newport news called the local IV. its real tiny place for local hardcore and metal shows. there where a few people taking pictures of the event and i was just wondering if anyone had any information about this place or the photographers.

it's liberty IV theres a few people on here that go there. I've been there a few times. What you wanna know? Who was playing when you went? If you're just looking for photog info, who was playing might be a huge clue as to who was taking pics.

 

i went to a show a few weeks ago to see since the flood and the acacia strain and a few local bands. it was a last min. show. there was maybe like 50 people that showed up. there where quite a few people taking pictures and i wanted to see if anyone knew where they might be posted

EDIT: the show was supposed to happen in fredricksburg, we drove up there from richmond found out it was cancelled and held in new port news. so we looked it up on a friends pda and couldnt get a number to the place. but we had the address so we searched for things around it. i ended up talking to a hair stylist that worked next door. she told me that people where there so we drove on down.

From what I know...the place was opened by a bunch of people big into the local hardcore scene so that we'd have another venue. Pretty cool venue...just gets hot as shit in there.

 

aint that the truth. a dude walked passed me and smelt like sour milk and hot garbage. i almost instantly puked.
what are some other spots down that way. also do you know how i could find out about upcoming shows there. i cant find shit on that place.

 

I think all the other venues are on the southside. I really only hear about shows from my buddy...and usually day of. I'll try and let you know next show I find out about.
