So I have been having issue with my right knee and the docs said that its called pattello femoral syndrome. In order to treat it i need to do specific knee exercise. Anyways does anyone know a place that specifies in knee/leg treatment.

Physical Therapy might be a good start. Look up VMO strengthening, knee stability exercise. Throw in some gentle patella lat/med mobs if the patella is immobile.

Any place that provides physical therapy should be able to help you. Dr. Hazel in Fairfax is one of the best known docs in the area for joint work and sports injuries, good luck

if you need a good doctor i would check out Dr Wattenmaker. hes located in Leesburg. I've been to a couple diffferent doctors for my back and he seems to be the one that knows the most and actually seems like he gives a shit. Hes actually going to be the one doing my spine surgery in a couple weeks.

Interesting, does your patella tendon get hot/inflammed(sp)?

I had surgery on mine from soccer. I can possibly help you with any excercises/strengthening stuff. http://www.sportsinjurybulletin.com/...ar-tendon.html

Edit: Check this out also dude.

Your probably having problems becasue your muscle is cause a strain on that tendon cause the muscle isnt strong enough. Happened to me, over time caused my patella tendon to partially tear.

No , it doesn't swelll nor get hot. I just have pain then comes and go . The doctor said that the muscle is weak. He said to treat it with cold ice and pain medicine . He gave me a website also but i didn't find it to be to useful. Plus I used to play soccer alot during spring and suddenly stopped doing all that. After that i started to get this knee problem

I have patellar tendonitis (SP?), which shares alot of the same symptoms. I have to go to PT about 3x a week. There is a rather good doc in Alexandria that I would recommend. I believe it was Commonwealth Orthopedics, they had me diagnosed, x-rayed, and outta there fast as hell and the doc apparently is pretty famous in this area.
