You do realize that they make just as much if not more torque too when boosted right? I have seen plenty of dyno sheets where they have more torque than horsepower. How much torque did your setup put down?
Are you really comparing a Vr6 to a B16? Really? It's a bigger motor and the heads probably suck so that explains why the equal torque to hp. AmIrite? What did I win?
Hell, F22b and other non-vtec motors do almost the same damn thing. F22b dual cam motor with a 60-1 on I believe 20psi made 400whp and 380tq reving to 6500. It's a 4 cylinder...
Back to the subject at hand. What would a jetta with 400 380 run in the 1/4?
