The weirdest thing I do is drive a CRX.

Im not saying full boost, that would def waste gas, but in 3-5th gears you can lightly touch the gas and even at 0lbs of boost, boost still comes in a little and helps the car move along, its wierd but gets me 30+mpg.

 

Do you have an automatic? I believe that on most modern manual cars, when you're coasting in gear the injectors shut down, so the motion of the car turns the engine, not the firing of the cylinders. So you would use less fuel if you coasted to the stop light in gear instead of neutral.

 

Kinda like the Audi TT. I'm not saying it has that much boost or anything but the little bit of boost i hit moves the car while daily driving and still gives me really good gas mileage.
