Wrong. W stands for winter - the first number is the oil's viscosity in cold temperatures. Second number is viscosity after it gets hot. (200+ degrees.) Therefore if you want a 'thicker' oil for a track car, you most likely want to raise the second number.
Yeah yeah, brett already corrected me. I thought for sure the w standed for weight. Made sense to me.
You just have to be pretend that it's a really expensive car that you wouldn't want to break.
