Two nice bikes for sale. CBR600RR and Ducati S2R
+1.
As was said (and not to rag on your sale) I have seen '07s and '08s for well under your asking price...some with a good number of mods.
I think yours is truly awesome with all of those mods, but the value of the bike is ultimately determined by the year and mileage (and maybe $.30/$1 return on mods).
If you get more negotiable (more than $500) I would love to talk to you about the bike.

I am just trying to help a fellow 600rr owner out:
The bike in stock trim would easily easily easily fetch $5,000-$6,000 (that might even be a low ball) and even if you sell all the parts for 1/2 what you paid you would still make over $10,000... Not trying to threadcrap just something to keep in mind cuz its a beautiful bike man.

This RR is far better than any new 600RR, regardless of price. He spared no expense and cut no corners. I respect that.
I want to check it out in person next time I'm out that way Rich. Again, I wish they made a lot of those parts for my 636.

Ive had cars where I debated parting out, only to decide at the end of the day its alot of time and hassle dealing with people low-balling and trying to ship 10s of parts to different locations. There is definitely more money to be had, but its a matter of what is your time worth at that point.
That is debatable. There have been ALOT of upgrades to the RRs since 2004. That said, it would be hard to duplicate the bike in questions for close to the asking price. If a heavily-modded '04 is what your heart is set on, this would be a hard bike to pass up.
Personally, I think most of the upgrades he's done to the '04 put it over and above the '08 in every way. I'm not disagreeing that there have been a lot of technological advances since 2004, but virtually every desireable upgrade has been done. If you sat this one next to a 2008, I'd take the '04 in a heartbeat. It already has everything you'd want to upgrade.
