Long time no see!!!

Are you still in the neighborhood? And that sucks about the paint. I was actually wondering the other day if you had got the car finished or not, but at least it looks like you have your ducks in a row now. If you need some "motivation" for that guy to finish your car I can definitely help you out.

 

Unfortunatly the payment for the job was a trade, a K5 blazer for the work, and of course the truck was sold. Yeah yeah I know what your thinking , how did he sell the truck w/out a title???????? hmmmmmm well I'M A DUMBASS. When I hired him to do the work I was activly over there checking on progress everyday. Then when I got the money I went and bought the motor, so I had him stop work on the car so I could get the motor in w/out f-ing up the cars new paint. Well the swap took a little longer than I thought. While I was in the middle of the swap he came to me asking for the title so he could drive it, because his truck had broken down. So I wrote up a doc. saying what was being traded for what and had him sign it. Heres where it gets complecated, after I had started the project my girl got pregnant, so I had a limited time to get the car fully funtional so all I had to do would be to drop it off for the rest of the body work and paint. Just as I was about to finish the swap (like wiring stuff, tps porb) here comes my baby girl, and I've got to be honest w/ you, for a while the paint guy would call 2-3 times a week, and after about 2 months of him calling asking me to bring the car so he could finish it , the calls stoped........
I failed to mention the right after my little girl was born I bought a house out in Amelia, so I was in the middle of a move too.......

So really cant go anywhere else .. I kinda just have to deal w/ it ..

why? its half his fault. he took teh car back n slacked for months about gettin it painted when the guy kept asking.

 

This is very true , If the guy didn't even bother to call me , then yeah I'd deff. want to "beat his ass". For right now though , I'm just excited that I found him and he has all of my parts still.
