Some people, well a lot, don't like the build quality of Taurus and apparently there has been issues with some models (not firing all the time, jamming, poor craftsmanship, etc). I believe a lot of this was older models, though there still are some reports of the same things, but past performance is hard to beat in the gun industry.

I would have no problem buying one and have been eyeing their new 1911 pretty hard.

Well if i wen't buy the "handful" of reviews on glocks, i guess mine should have blown my hands off by now from chamber failure? The only issue ive heard of with Taurus, was the .40 24/7 pro had feeding issues, other then none. This is pretty much your personal oponion, and you tried to ruin his thread, shrug.

If i had the extra money, id buy it back from him, i loved it as my range gun, accurate, solid for the price, and cheap ammo.

 

"chamber failure"? kb? do you reload?....no..?..didnt think so...ok then...the glock uses polygonal rifling....non-traditional rifleing in the barrel...every gun will kb's if someone fires a double-charged case, but polygonal rifling is especially prone to this when shooting cast lead bullets if you even look in your glock manual, it says to never shoot lead because it tends to expand in the chamber from built up lead, thus causing your kb, its just glock caught the negative end of that...um..i dont know how many years ago, other high-end firearms today are using the same rifleing (hk, etc)....but yeahhhh i guess it is personal opinion though...sorry all...
