I think you're completely wrong. Mercedes is one of the very very few car companies that consistantly put out good looking cars. I wish I could say the same for BMW.

I think that BMW and MB are riding the failboat together. Thats just my opinion though, not like it means anything.

the e46 M3 was gorgeous.. MB has been making some ugly cars for a couple of years.. i still think audi has some of the better looking cars.. and def. the best looking interiors.

I only half meant it (maybe 3/4). Some E46s look decent, E39s can be made to look decent...and that's it. =(

Wrong.

E34s and E31s (8-series) are great looking cars as well. E39s with the m-technic bumpers/valences look amazing as well. A lot of people hate on the E36 but personally I like them a lot. BMWs design didn't begin to suck total balls until after the Z series/ E46 came out.

I just saw 2 brand new M3's today... a blue one and a black one.
They looked great!.... with one exception..
The sides of both cars had the worst orange peel paint I've ever seen on a new car.... Sure it was Shiny orange peel.. but orange peel .. none the less.
I can't believe BMW would let something like that by ... wow.
