Im about to cave and just take my car to a shop. I need to know of good shops around va beach that are really well with diagnostics. I dont want to take it to a shop that has no idea what they are doing,and make me buy parts that arent needed. Anyone know any shops with taking it to.

So you get an idea of what type of diag i need:
The car runs amazing when it cool,but when it warms up to normal opperating temp. it bogs and cuts off. I need this fixed so i dont care if it good shop,or someone on the side who is good with this type of stuff. Frankly im sick of messing with it.

If you know of any where good to take it simply reply.

 

The cam position sensor can do that. When its cold it'll run fine and then wil act up, or something inside of the distributor.

 

Dizzys good,it came off of one of stevens motor before he swapped it.

 

cam position sensor was doing that in my friends car. it actually died while he was driving it and it got warm. i would replace that just to be sure.

 

To bad my car isn't equipped with an OBD-1 Distributor, or I'd let you try mine just for shits and giggles. Did you ever get another ECU?

 

Car is going to the shop next monday,any good recommendations?

hah you trying to jip me 10 bucks,hah i thought when you had it the fitv gave you issues,which i have replaced and adjusted 3 times.
