Maybe I'm wrong here but... if it goes across from the top of the towers isn't that a "strut bar"?

Yeah, but that'd be way back there. The Sparco bar mounts behind the seats across the seatbelt towers.

Yeah ^^ that is what I was going to buy and I am only really doing it for looks lol no trying to race it at a drag strip maybe once or twice jus to see what it will run

I have a 97 civic with the sparco harness bar and 5 point g-force cam locks and love em. definately agree with the others DO NOT attach sholder starps to the body. i read some where that the harnesses should not be at more than about 10 degree angle off the back of the seat. i could be off a little but something like that.
