Default Quick question for those with fuel injected gixxer's?

I was wondering if u guys had tried out TRE on your bike? Its it worth spending my money?

it makes the gear indicator stay in 5th gear, rendering it useless.

from what i heard yes it helps but only in the lower rpm off 1st thru 4th but like i said i kow alot of people who have them and love them

I never did it I have never had any thing but an fi Gixxer. Just spend the money getting a custom map and you don't need to worry about your low end because you will have plenty of power throughout .....I had a custom map for my bmc race and my Jardine done by Jamie at fuel moto..There was a huge difference through out

i'm guessing you hate that delay when you twist the throttle and you are looking to get a better throttle response.
you can instead get a slipon w/ PC mapped(with just this mod, there was still an irritating delay with the throttle response) plus the R1 throttle tube mod and set the SET to wide open.
thats what I did and it is not even noticeable.
