Obama Rally today at VABeach Conv Center
On a somewhat indirectly related note...
There were Ron Paul supporters camped out on the corner of Oyster Point/Jefferson in the grass in front of Starbuck's this afternoon demonstrating (probably not the right word). Atleast 5-6 of them holding signs and 1 dude had a megaphone.

Ya, I was pretty dissapointed with VA Beach. They dropped the ball on this one. There was hardly any security. I just walked right in and straight up to the area. Nobody controlled/organized the lines and thankfully the entire group of 20,000 people there were very polite and patient. There was one instance where I got mad at some people who pushed to get into the door and made it like a bar scene and I had to help keep a little girl from getting crunched.
The speech was the same thing we've seen/heard online and on TV. But I gotta say the man is very good at what he does. Excellent speaker and motivator... at times he sounded a little bit too much like a paster up there. But overall a great speaker.
I'm still undecided but I'm just kinda stoked I did get to see a presidential candidate speak and possibly our future president. Just something cool to have seen/done.
