Thanks for the kind words guys. I've been looking for a while now and am really happy with this beast. I wanted something you don't see every day...but that didn't have the quirks of the modded bikes I'd been riding. So this one is stock save for a Corbin seat, Muzzy s/o, K&N filter, and jets. Plus, it's showroom clean - not a mark on it ANYWHERE!

And yeah Steve, you're right - GREAT motor! Initially I wasn't thrilled that it's only a 5-speed, but it makes so much torque it pulls no matter what gear you're in. It's not peaky at all, is docile at low rpm if you want to just cruise, and pulls like a freight train when the revs go over 6 grand. BIG change from the old GS that needed to be shifted constantly to stay in the power! We need to ride...indeed!

Its old school looking i have been thinking about putting a cafe upper/headlight like that on my cb 750 project. I am kinda on the fence though.

That is nice, always liked those bikes. And I am sure it is a far cry from the GS!!! The GS was nice, but this one has gobs of power on reserve!

Congrats man, maybe if I ever get out, I will see you out there sometime!

I'll try to keep it under 6 grand!
