So a guy came in with the book for the cb550 (which is in parts that we just bought) and the book goes from 350-550 fs and the directions and pics are so clear. So we adjusted the points and timed it YAY! I love this shit! She is running again. I can ride this weekend so I will be carring a phillips, flat head, 23mm wrench and the manual when I ride! jk hopefully it will work right till i get my new ignition!

and a matchbook cover and a piece of cigarette cellophane (no, that's not a joke), that's the old school gearhead way of setting point gap on the side of the road, should you ever need to. matchbook covers are about .012-.014 thick, and the celophane is to tell when the points JUST start to open (it'll fall out). i'd carry a point file too, since you're already carrying all that crap. maybe a set of condensors, some spark supressing wire, a left foot peg, a right shift lever, a clutch belt, a piston return spring, and don't forget to change to winter time air in the tires, or you could end up on the ground

who cut your plug wires? the covering over the wires isn't a big deal, the wires inside are fine, you could just heat shrink that....but.... wtf happened to your plug wires? are those your "replacement" coils? why, oh, why, would you buy used coils (i'd imagine from ebay) when you can get NEW replacements for not much thru a handfull of distributors that you already have accounts with?
