Mazda had to remap the ECU at the port to make it pass US (specifically CA) emmissions. They 'adjusted' their stated HP from 247 to 238.

they're offering a buyback OR $500 plus free maintenance for 4 years for those that bought the RX-8 before the HP adjustment was announced.

so far 90% of people that have bought it are keeping the car and taking the $500 and free maintenance.

find me another rwd 4 seater that handles like a dream for under 30k
