i was just wondering if it's my car or if this is normal for everyone else as well but as soon as i hit the tunnel, my radio reception just goes to static. What's a good fix for this?

It's wierd, I loose the station going from Hampton towards Norfolk, but I stay tuned in on the way back. ??

 

Theres an FM repeater in the tunnels, and I guess going one direction, their repeater must be broken

It depends on what station i'm listening to, ithink its like odu_teg said with the coming and going thing but i don't remember if its the same for me.

 

Doesn't matter which way I'm going, my radio turns to static going through the tunnel.

If I'm heading to Peninsula, my cell phone works entire way through the tunnel - no problem. If I'm heading to Virginia Beach my cell drops signal right as I go into the tunnel - then comes back about half way through.
