I'd like someone to actually give out the name of the place that's "filling" kegs since this place would have to have beer in bulk storage and the equipment to fill and pressurize a keg which you can only find at breweries

I wasn't aware that liquor/ABC stores have the ability to fill kegs.

i didnt say it was a liqour store.....and besides there's a couple place's here in virginia beach that can fill kegs....there's a place out at lynnhaven that fills them also....we get them from there all the time...... i dont remember the exact name but ill make a call to my friend and find out

I've been told from a buddy that there is some place in the 757 that if you fill up a 2 liter soda bottle with beer bottle caps, you get a free keg of your choice. would anyone be able to shed some light on this or is he just blowing smoke up my ass cause i need a keg for friday and saturday and have 2 soda bottles filled with beer bottle caps. thanks.

No, they DONT fill kegs people. When you have a shell, you take it in and they give you a full keg, all you pay for is the beer. When you buy a keg, its either you give them and empty shell, or the deposit. And why would they give you an empty keg? thats stupid.

up around VT and stuff they do GIVE free kegs for the can tabs. (not bottle caps, since caps can be farmed from bars sooo easy). we use to do it all the time back when my sister was in radford. 1 qt milk jug fill with can tabs would get ya a keg.. cheap shit but a keg.
they may of changed it now to something more like a discount but eh.. it use to be free, beer and all.
