why don't you NOT be cheapskates and spend a few bucks more to get a more renowned exhaust. then you won't have to worry about anything.

 

 

Being a cheapskate has nothing to do with saying that a magnaflow muffler, and a weld job, are worth 320 bucks. Ive had magnaflow...and ive had it welded...and it wasnt that exspensive. And sometimes...people dont have 10 grand they can just spit out on their cars...they have to make do with what they have...its not being cheap...its being realistic...

I do agree that if you have the money, buy the better stuff...you get what you pay for...but im just saying that sometimes the better stuff isnt an option for people, so they just make do.

regarding the 320 dollar muffler job...you may want to ask a couple more shops what they charge...to make sure you arent getting ripped off. like i said, that just seems a little steep to me.

mandrel bent piping and welding only cost his 110.

 

Now that sounds like what I am used to. 110 is a good price

so they are charging 200 bucks for labor? rip off...dont do it...a muffle ( a good muffler) cost 100 bucks...if they are charging you over 200 bucks for labor...that place is ridiculous

 

i got it welded on yesterday. I bought a magnalfow muffler for $210 just about. They used 2 hangers for $10 bucks a piece. And labor was about $90. $320 all togethor. worth it VERY much compared 2 a ebay muffler i think.
