I have seen a Charger R/t run a 15.7 in the quarter before. I have seen alot of cars beat charger that shouldnt have. LOL...but I have nothing to do with them.
I know all about BMW and putting down horsepower, they put down very close to what they have at the crank.
I am only talking from my experiences not no streetfire videos, no google videos, just me. I have a very good engine, dyno very high for the stock and reacted very good got intake and exhaust. I have beat M3s, with my girlfriend in the car, a time when I had my brothers. Its not a everyday thing, that M3s, try to race me, so when it happens I remember it.... Shit I do bad at the track also, I have only been like 4-5 times. But no much I can do if I cant get traction...I havent even been to the 1/4 before. I am not going to buy drags or anything, because I am not that serious about it.

negative ghostrider... two of my best friends own 2003 and 2003.5(grey market ) m3 coupes with all the options. the 2003.5 has the 04' led tailights,and a few other half-year changes. the cars were 59,900 new,and now the 2003 has 35,xxx on the clock and the value is much less than 28k,meanwhile the 2003.5(grey market car) has dropped from $63,457 to $27,895 and it only shows 32,xxx miles. check your numbers again there.and the vettes were overpriced to begin with,thus the steep drop in resale value.
the m3's go for 19-22k regularly at manheim auto auction,(and yes even the 10 out of 10 cars)

Just when you present your opinions, just gotta back it up with facts, I'm just debating it against you. I personally don't know if the M3 is faster than the Dodge Charger but I'm sure we can do some testings to conclude our own speculations.
The video presented was a test between the new Dodge Viper and how it was compared to the BMW Z4M. Dodge Viper, an iconic American muscle car had the huge HP but lacked balance which resorted a tie in the race where as the Z4M was balanced but lack the muscle compared to the Viper. I highly doubt a charger will be able to handle the M3 on the track.
There are a lot of variables of the price drops in the vehicle. The newer it is, the higher value it will hold. Not only that, most buyers are looking for cars that still retain its factory warranty. To maintain a car like the M3 after warranty will cost you a lot of money, You're looking at 1500-2000 for servicing.
Just when you present your opinions, just gotta back it up with facts, I'm just debating it against you. I think I want my next car to be a Viper...I looked at some videos of the Hennessey Vipers...OMG...I GOT TO HAVE ONE...
But I also got to have a Hennessey Viper SALARY...lol
Might not have the BMW sign or, the real leather, or the nicely appointed seats, but remember I wanted a 4dr sports sedan, and a M5 was toooo expensive to be on my list.

ive been doing some research on the charger and its moves fast for a heavy car. I've read some speculation that it will pull, dead even, or the slightly slower, some even mention saying it its a driver's race.. now its making me curious
The M5 is sexy but you're right price is pretty high lol
