8/04/07 Integra & Other Meet Pictures!
Justin bro, I feel you. You love your car, but you got it all wrong. The only thing you might have on that car is a straight line. I suggest you watch, The Good, The bad and the ugly by Clarkson. Also you already know your car's KBB as you mentioned. These things drop price like rockets. I don't even think I should compare the interior and the built quality?
What's your car's Skidpad?
What's your car's Skidpad?
lol there is no way that a Charger will outhandle a M3, and if you think it does you're high off of something real good! btw i never seen your car until friday, so no i dont think you have raced me
lol already in stock form, the M3 is faster than the SRT8 Charger in straight line, I could only imagine how it compares in other departments as well! You say you kill M3s on the regular, who have you been trying to race? Middle and upper aged men that drives M3s to impress their collegues and girls that doesnt even know anything about the car?? or stuck up bitches who drives convertibles in their prada shades driving to the mall? O.o
And i dont think its realistic to compare more vintage cars built back in the 60s and compare it to cars made today, it doesn't work that way. Do you plan on keeping your car for the next 40 years of your life in mint condition? I highly doubt it. A car is only worth as much as a person is willing to pay for it. If you want to talk about numbered, the Type R I believe made only 1500 per year for 2000-2001 in the US market. It's been almost 7 years, the going price for one are in the low to mid $10Ks.
As for most of you who have known me, I used to have a 2000 Integra Type R, it was one of the best handling car in stock trim ever built. I loved the high strung engine, the tight suspension, it was the best and balanced front wheel drive car ever built. For those who were fortunate to own one, mad kudos to you!
The M3 is exactly how the Type R was built, built for the track. A well balanced car with decent power, great suspension etc. 0-60 4.8 sec and low to mid 13s in a 1/4 mile in stock trim no one can complain about, especially in a luxury fitting (leather seats, power accessories, sunroof) The E46 M3 has held its weight since 2001, the new release of the 2008 M3 will yet raise the bar once again.
The competition package released in 2005 and 2006 was the closes you could get in the US market to the legendary 2003 M3 CSL. (the CSL M3 was one of the best car ever built but never made it to the US) ( a tighter steering ratio 15.2 to 1, 13.6 crossed drilled rotors with more agressive brakes, Stiffer Suspension, CSL wheels, Alcantra fittings all taken from the CSL) If you are not familiar with the CSL you should just go die. Just like the Type R, the M3 will always be a novelty car and be admired by true car enthusiasts.

I used to have an authentic Mugen front bumper for my DC2 R. (and that thing took good beatings too!) I never recalled Mugen made their body add ons with ABS Plastic but then again you have a DC5, things could have changed...
either way, sucks that it got cracked :/ anything authentic mugen is $$$$$$$$$$.

lol well it was 3 big ones and 1 lil one, the lil one was like on the shoulder so i think he may have possibly made it but the other 3 are most likely dead. No my car doesnt stink...i woulda rather it was my bumper to tell you the truth since that is an authentic mugen lip, granted i got a steal of a deal on it but still im pretty upset about it
edit: i always thought their lips are poly-urethane, thats how the one on my old civic was
