Good roads to ride with little traffic?
i bought gear before i got the bike
but that is just me and my MSF background
Hell I like getting gear, still buy different types of armor and stuff

People with sportbikes can talk gear all day long. It's a never ending debate. I have top quality gear. But if there's times where im not comfortable in it then I'm not going to be comfortable riding in it either. Therefore, I cannot enjoy myself.

Me and a couple friends all picked up bikes this week, and none of us are that experienced with riding in traffic yet. Unfortunately, though, we all live in high traffic areas. Are there any roads near the Newport News/YC/Williamsburg area that are good for going out and cruising and getting seat time on the bike without worrying as much as idiots who fly through traffic?
+1 to getting gear and try the MSF course if you haven't already.
Only issue I have with the Colonial Parkway is the open joints. Dropped the front tire of the 500 into one and it took me for a nice ride...
