Horray for Langley!
Thanks for pulling for me. I have some adjustments to make to my suspension. And I got a pointer about letting some air out. I promised carlos the inside next time we race. You guys think I should race him right off next time?
I am still a little upset that they wouldn't give me a head start against him. I need to get me some hoosiers.
Man I know what you mean. Seemed like everyone had them. Are they even street legal? Not that I care too much. If you can beat them then buy them.
As far as my car. It's a semi-modified MazdaSPEED6. Downpipe-back exhaust. H&R coilovers(still tuning these). and a stupid cold air intake. I COULD put the boost controller back on to get my top end back, but I am waiting for my piggyback controler to come out.
Hope I have another good run vs el carlos.

The Mazda was damn impressive. There were some great runs last night.
As for the Hoosiers, yes they are street legal. Are they street tires? NO. You really wouldn't wanna run them on the street. If, for nothing else, they do qualify for DOT ratings, but the casing is very thin and light. I've had them puncture on a sharp rock at Pungo years ago. And they're lighter now! I'm also a Hoosier dealer and I've been running them for 20+ years. I drive the black 77 Z28 and it's been on Hoosiers forever. The old bias ply "autocrossers" actually felt better, but the radials are by far better.
The tires that are impressing me so far are Carlos' Avons. They seemed to work great right out the box. It'll be interesting to see how they do when it gets hotter out there.
See everybody next week!

You good for a discount? hahaha I would need rims to fit them though that also fit my car. Finnaly got that creaking noise to go away. And lowered the back alittle more. I think I am going to lower it one more inch just to see how that pans out. The thing is handling like a beast though. See you next week.

for the mazda. i was hoping you would beat carlos.
