Maybe it's because I went through Navy Fed (I wasn't even navy, my father was) but 3 years ago at 18, WITH NO CO SIGNER, I financed 7500 for 48mo @ 6.9% and it turned out to be 191/mo

Regardless of bank though 7500 for 48mo @ 6.9% is the same number, Getting credit approval is the hard part.





My suggestion? Try to find a bank to give you a small car loan and stay away from the "bend me over the table" dealerships.

8000.00 @ 23% for 72 months = $205.78

205.78 * 72 = $14,816.16

Way to pay $6,816.16 in interest.... on a $8,000 car

Well, there is no "How Not to Spend Your Money Like a Jackass 101" class in schools. So, the only financial education most people get is from their parents. That's how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
