Lakeside Amusement Park
People get burnt out on amusement parks just like they do anything else. If one were to come locally then it would just be a matter of time before it too was put in the "old" category.
Personally, I disagree. I'm not arguing that people would eventually go so many times that they got tired of it, but there are always new people. Roanoke is growing extremely rapidly, and I think there would always be a new batch of illegal immigrants that found their way into Roanoke that would be willing to hit up the park. lol.. Shouldn't have said that probably, but I did. I'm very disgruntled after a recent trip to WalMart by the mall. MY GOD!!!
If you are serious about this... Let me know. I have some contacts. Not necessarily for amusement parks but people who do things like this and some with good amounts of startup money and capital. I'd also be interested in looking at the proposal and what would you plan on doing. PM me. I'm always interested in business ideas. I make models and plans quite often.
Think of it this way. An amusement park would bring much more to the area in the form of entertainment as well with the increase in tourism, "foot" traffic, etc..
Maybe to the local crowd... But otherwise... No. Upcoming human generations will keep it going. Whether it gets old to you or not, the new kids on the block will keep it running. How do you think Disney and such keep making record profits?
they had that family kingdmo....or somthing right on the strip. there was a coaster or 2, and bunch of other rides for all the TONS AND TONS of kids that go there....nothing but hotels and condos going there now.
