be safe and call a wrecker service. If your only going 10 miles then it may only be like a $50 fee. I had to have my car toed to my house a few years because of a wreck. It was like 2 miles and $50.

my car requires 16 lugnuts and im running daily with 10, 3 front 2 rear with no issues...But thats cause im too lazy to buy lugnuts.

Being tight isn't the problem. The problem is the studs sheering.

Depending on the car I say go for it. Just don't hammer the brakes or gas. ANd don't go tossing your car through turns. I was sitting at a top light last summer and looked over only to realize that the mid-80s B-body next to me only had 3 of the 5 lug nuts installed. That's a pretty hefty car and by the looks of things he wasn't taking it a few miles down the road.
