If you have access to a real gun/compressor you can do a real PJ for cheap.

Looks good. What kind of paint is that? One or two stage? Any wet sanding?

Looks great for $50 and some weekend time !!! Can somebody post the steps on the "how to's" and the breakdown of how the paint is mixed and applied. Pics would be great to follow.

I did this almost a year ago

Its decent for a track car. Somewhat mediocere for a street car. Defenetly not a show car, but can be acceptable with precise prep and post work.

I didn't do the roller method which was the original procedure of the "$50 paint job", however i did use the Home Deapot paint.

I went out and bought a paint gun. I guess i might as well have used automotive paint huh?

Sherwin-Williams Automotive paint mixed to factory spec (a little off) at their store off Military Highway. Single stage...no wet sanding/buffing or anything, that is just how it looked out of the gun after it dried.

Dan did his in 3 days, I did my old white car in 7. No offense to Dan but mine looked way better, lol. Then again the first 3 coats he put on his car were not nearly thick enough and he didn't sand his primer down!

fuckin sick, im going to go into business doing this. I'm just crazy enough. I want to start doing sweet wooded shadow effects on cars too. I have a garage that I can clean out and I can get the air compressor and I am mighty creative so im starting to take interest.
