I did not come to his shop wanting a cure, just wanted him to build an engine for me and do the install. Im far from being right all the time, but years of waiting and asking for a set date, is wrong in any business situation. I did talk to him on the side to get nothing out of it but "Im too busy right now". I have others customers now. WTF? (basically just always lead to us arguing) I was a customer a long time ago. I didnt bullshit you the funds when you wanted them, now dont bullshit me with the engine and install date. For you people out there that do have good relationship with him good for you(not being sarcastic either). Hopefully the good balances out the bad, but so far I hear nothing but bad and just feel I should pass the word on my situation and you make the call to go there or not. Its like using angines list or BBB for info on a company. By all means go there. This is a free world for speach and I will state my feelings here for others to read and if you want to state your opinion go for it. I have some attchments I might post later on down the road that will shock even his friends that stand by DP. Or I might just leave alone and let others find out the hard way. My story is straight too. which I have not even told yet, but if your good friends with Jimmie ask him. Im sure he will give you the edited version, so believe what you want from him and those few that get treated right by him stay close for the ride. I believe that if shops here or anywhere really had the same work ethics and pride with customer in mind like O.C.C they would take over from all their competetion. We all know that will not happen in this perfect world, so most shops look out after a few and their shop cars and rip off the rest. My Opinion!

Second. No one is talking shit they are simply stating their likes or in most cases here dislikes/problems with the shop.
The problem is nobody can satisfy customers these days. You work on someone's car and you own it. I could change someone's air filter and they are calling me the next day wanting to know how their axle broke.

People's ideas of good customer service these days are free shit, miracle cures for half price, and sponsership with no return. It's just not possible to keep everyone happy and still turn a profit, because everyone refuses to be happy unless they get a hookup.

I've never heard nothing but good things about RJ and the time i met him he seemed pretty cool, I think i met another guy from there once before too and he seemed pretty cool. As someone else who works in the industry and knows a lot of people in the industry I guess it's just a lot easier for me to see it from the other side.
