modding stock exhaust
Actually the way I have it setup right now, makes it feel just as comfortable as a cruiser through the corners and fast as shit through the straights. It's far from a drag bike. I don't even have a power commander. I have stock headers, stock mids with the cats and just slip-ons. The 6.12 was all foot shifting as well. The guys at the track called my bike a freak of nature.
a stock hieght, stock wheelbase busa will get thru the twisties just fine. i've had a few friends over the years that would come play on the mountain roads with us on busa's. never had any problems keeping up in the corners, and would just eat people up in the starights. people like to think that busa's don't turn well since most people drag race them so much. just takes a good rider, and a lil more effort.
hell, yoshimusa roadraced a busa for a lil while.
btw, you must have a monday bike
why dont you scim up some cash or some random shit to trade and get my yosh pipe, i loved the way it sounded it wasnt too load and from behind the bike it had a great ass tone, id catch myself turning my head to the side just to listen to it..
lol, "supposedly" bikes built on monday put out more/better power b/c the factory workers are in a better mood after having a good time on the weekend. compared to a friday bike, where the workers are just trying to get shit done and get the hell out of there so they can go enjoy thier weekend.
so... a monday bike would be better build/run better/etc than a friday bike.

it's just an old shop saying, rationalizing how two of the same bike/car can have drastic performance differences right off the assembly line.
