I'm lookin at getting a night job and doing 'security' at a bar/club seems like a kinda chill 2nd job to work a few nights a week. I know some people on here work at BAR, and Peabobys I'm there are other on here as well. How do you like it? And do you know if anyone is anyone hiring?


edit: ohh what hours do work? how many day/hours a week? and how much pay did they start off making.

I work at Saddle Ridge in Hampton and I love it. It's the easiest $14/hour I've ever made in my life. I typically work from 9pm until 2am, Fridays and Saturdays. They typically start the new guys out at $12/hour.

Saddle Ridge is also hiring for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Ask for Rickie or Mike Slaughter if you're interested.

If you can get a GWA (security) job at Waterside, jump on it. Its seriously the most fun/easiest money youll ever make (doesnt pay top dollar).

But you meet so many damn people, and ass is handed to you on a silver platter.

Plus you get cheap drinks. I worked there for 3 and a half years, just stay as security and dont try to make a full time job out of it like I did being there during the days doing ABC orders / inventory and what not. Fuck all that bullshit ... have fun tossing a few people out and getting butt.

 

to do these jobs would you suggest peopel no smaller than 6ft 175lbs. Or can anybody with a pulse be security

 

from what i was told by the few places i've been talkin to they want someone who can handle themself...jus in case but most the time it's 3-6 of you dealing with the one or two you have to put out.. nothing big.

 

I was a backup for a local strip club. It was the most chill job ive ever had. Plus, you get to know/meet alot of cool people, as well as girls. Hell, you might even get job offers in the entertainment industry.
If I werent back in school, id still bounce on my free time.
