I hated parking in the main st. deck. The new Cary st. deck is bigger with wider parking spots and much wider driving area (No arrows; which can lead to a $3 ticket if you dissobey the arrows in the main st deck!! those fuckers)

I commuted last semester, fuck that, I got an apartment and I ride my bike a few blocks.
Now I'm pissed because somehow now for my apartment building there are more cars than there are spots, so my Suburban is parallel parked out front of the building right now, luckily someone moved opening up a large enough spot after I went around the block a few times.

yep vcu parking does suck. Last semester i parked on the second floor. As i walked about 15 feet from my car i heard a loud thump. I turned around and some girl backed into my car and drove off. Luckily I got her plate number as she was driving off and call the police and got it resolved 
From that point on i only park on the 4th floor of the main street deck. The fourth floor is not a packed as the others so i just park my car as close as possible to the wall so i have alot more room on the other side of my car

yeah...
i'm not a fan of the older foreign women that drive around VCU...
I was nearly hit in my tahoe, while in it, waiting for a woman to parallel park behind me
literally 5 minutes after she first started to try, she realized she was too incompetant to pull off the high-skill maneuver and decided to ditch the effort...
what a moron...if she had let me leave, she woulda had 2 spots worth of room to try and park, which she would have undoubtedly taken all of

Haha I know what you mean! I was down there last night and a girl in a silver Civic tapped what I think was an Altima trying to squeeze into this tight little space. Then I went to Gamestop by Kroger and some idiot banged his door into mine when I was walking out the store, and drove off. Luckily no dents. Once again, VCU and VCU parking suck!

Might be moving my office to VCU campus in 2008. Requested assigned parking spaces in a parking deck -- that's the best way to go, so you know who is parking next to you each day.
When parallel parking in Richmond VA or NYC, I put a big ass 2-5/16" class 3 box hitch on my truck that sticks out about a foot. Someone tries to bumper tap me, they're gonna get speared.
