RIP bruce staton lynchburg va.miss you man
My information isn't solely from the paper, that's just one place his speeding was documented. I talked first hand with the police and EMT's who all said he was speeding. It's a tragedy he died, but again, no need to sugar coat what happened.
I don't owe anybody an apology. I merely corrected an incorrect statement.

ok well i didnt want to even get involved..Your info is worthless. The cops recreated the accident said that estimated speed was 35-40 mph..So i think everyones heard enough.
This is the one thing I hate about vadriven you get some punk ass motherf@cker that wants to always f*ck up a good thread who cares what happen the whole reason for this thread was to remember Bruce not debate what happen. And for 1sol2nv I wouldn’t stoop that low as argue with this cat.
Look, seriously...
I know that there is some debate around this. There always is when there is an accident. That's fine. But the fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter whether the guy was doing 120 on the back wheel or riding on a tricycle on the sidewalk. He's dead, and arguing about it isn't going to change that. If you think he was at fault or whatever, that's fine. You're welcome to think whatever you want. Just leave it out of this thread.
Rather than trying to make it look like he caused it himself or whatever the motive for these arguments is, just let it go. His family and friends have been through enough without having to defend him on the internet.
No, I didn't know the guy. Never heard of him before this thread. But I had a good friend die a few years back, and then everyone was talking about the fact that his death may have been preventable or maybe he caused it himself or whatever. All that did was make me mad at those people. My emotions were already on edge from losing one of my best friends. The last thing I needed was to defend him to someone who didn't even know him.
