how good would a zc motor in a 89 crx be?

 

which zc r u talking about? sohc or dohc? i have a dohc and i like it i mean it would be better to do a b series swap but alittle more expensive but w/e u do itll sure b better then stock ahha gl with ur choice

I had one a year ago(DOHC ZC) and it pulled pretty good until i hydrolocked it. But to answer your question more power than a stock D-series and cheaper than a B-series. I kept up with LS swapped EG's with no problems all I had was a AEM CAI, light flywheel, and a clutch

A good flowing one with a nice quiet muffler.

 

zc is a good engine swap. its cheap, fairly cheap to mod, but its just not a b series.

as far as exhaust goes, get something quiet, like above listed, and make sure it can't shoot grapefruits.

Greddy, thermal, apexi...or just go to www.optauto.com and check them out. they will at least give you ideas for exhaust as well as components.
