From what I understand it's an engineering marvel, but it's butt ugly. I would still like one. There aren't too many cars that I can say are butt ugly and I still want one. Superior to Porsche and Ferrari at a fraction of the price. The only reason I don't own one of these butt ugly cars is because it's too much of a headache to import and keep running when you don't like to get your hands dirty like myself.

They aren't quite all they are hyped up to be, but the R34's ran low 13's stock, and handle like a dream. The AWD system is pretty awesome, along with a very strong motor. I also hear that with some tuning they can make almost 400 awhp just like they are. They are very strong motors... They have full bodied cars in the mid 7's at 185+.

You're a fool.

Superior to Porsche and Ferrari at a fraction of the price. At no point in that statement did you come close to saying something that was correct.

yeah the skyline is a great awesome car but its not cracked up to all it is...in stock form.

It has amazing power potential, it handles very well and is very stout.

Think of it like this..its a supra with a very beefy awd system that is has all kinds of traction gizmos

It can make gobs of power on the stock block just like a supra (800whp range) and can make 450whp with very very minimal mods.
With 5 grand you can have 700-800whp and run 9 sec 1/4's without breaking the awd system....all this while out braking and handiling alot of supercars.

Its basically the pinacle car for the import community

The Skyline had the production record on the 'ring for a while, didn't it?

I just saw a white one here in Fredericksburg with a girl driving it. She pulled into a recently sold house so maybe they are just moving it. Very clean, had some deep gold wheels on it. Its the first skyline I have seen out in the wild thats not at a car show.

I dont know if it's still true, but it used to be at least the most advanced awd system on the market. The motor is good for over 1000whp on the stock block, just as the supra. My friend also has a 98 tt supra with only 36,000 miles on it.

Finally, some decent info on it. Sounds like they can be pretty cool rides. Thanks Terry
