I neeed help!!!
Whoever says c/o's won't bounce around blah blah blah has never obvioulsy blown shocks with c/o's on the car...it will bounce around just as much.
The spring has NOTHING to do with bouncing...that's what the shock absorber's job is.
And wow, this thread is genius.

There is no reason a QUALITY adjustable shock, and a QUALITY set of lowering springs won't handle as well as a set of coilovers. YES, coilovers give you adjustable ride height, but that's the only adavantage.... Give me a Civic with some Konis and a good set of race springs, and I'll keep up with your bling bling coilovers in the corners all day long.
daniel, dont cut the springs.
if you're just using your car for street, go with a kyb agx/eibach sportline spring combo. thats what my old 240 had, and the ride was surprisingly decent. that shock/spring combo compliment eachother well.
if you actually want to track your car, get coilovers.
btw: you wont get much for those springs. to give you an example, jacob sold his s-techs for his is300 for $30.

oh i know mine are legit and my name is not daniel lol thanks for all your help guyz/gurlz oh but can somebdoy tell me im going to need to get adjustable camber kit if i lower my car right?
It depends on how much you lower it, and what your plans are for the car. If you plan on tracking the car, and end up with 2-3 degrees of camber, you probably won't wanna change it... If you're more worried about wearing out your Nittos... Get a camber kit....
P.S.- aggressive camber will not wear out tires as quickly as the crappy toe settings you get when you lower a car... get an alignment after you install your new springs....
