Question Brake line question

Ok i have a small leak in my brake line on my jeep. It looks like it had just rotted away just recently. is there any way i can fix it without welding or replacing the whole line? It is a very small hole, about a1/4 inch long on the bottom of the line.

There is no easy fix. You could use some JB Weld or other similar substance for a temporary fix. If you don't want to replace the whole line you could cut the bad part out and put some new fittings on, but you'd need a flaring tool for that.

All and all the easiest and best solution is to just replace the line. Your brakes aren't something that you want to skimp on in any aspect.

deffinately

either replace the whole line, or cut out the bad part and replace it with new fittings, and new section of line

good luck

Are you seriously retarded? Do you understand what will happen if you have a hole in your braking system?

Replace the line. You're going to get yourself and the person in the car in front of you killed.

Yay!! Some goop on the outside of the line is going to stop hundreds or thousands of PSI of brake line pressure! Have fun in ghetto rigged heaven!

YEAH DRIVE OFF A CLIFF YEAH!!!!

Don't drive that fuckin thing with the braking system in question. There are things you can half-ass - brakes ARE NOT one of them.
