Hmmm I think this should be a sticky where everyone can check this out. It has some good info for everyone, which would include the cagers that make up the majority of the site.

it pays to know your rights!!
alot of officers assume that you don't know your rights, and they can and will use that against you.

i don't believe you're required to show id for no reason, but trying to prove that there's no reason is pretty much impossible. they can just make something up.
