Default Tv Repair

I have a dell 37 in lcd tv with a cracked screen. Is there anywhere local that I can take this to get that fixed or does anyone know if Its gonna be worth it? I need to figure out if I should get it fixed or just throw it away. Thanks for any advice.

Your best bet is to look on ebay for the same model tv with bad electronics and a good LCD.

The LCD makes up most of the cost.

Have you called Dell to see if they sell a replacement LCD panel?

My dad took his rca to maurice electronics and they fixed it for a good price but delieverd it to the wrong person (serial number off by one letter) then didnt get it back when they promised and now the picture is too big for the screen. like the scrolling words at the bottom can barely be seen.

Dell dosent sell any parts what so ever and they dont repair them. They replace the tv if it is still in warranty and if it is out of warranty then you are fucked...you just have a broken tv and cant get any parts to fix it. I have been checking ebay but havent turned up anything yet.
