"twin-disc" clutch systems???
i am thinking about getting a "twin-disc" clutch system ...
i am running a built LS/turbo setup,
hopefully going to be putting down 300 to 400whp or something like that//
anybody have experience with the twin-disc systems?
i want a clutch i won't have to change every year, & somewhat smooth/reliable for street driving 2-3times a week...

I've never done research on 4 cylinder applications, but I've known a few people who have used twin disc setups in high power f-body setups and they were known to be far from smooth for street driving.
But don't let that sway your decision. I'm just saying you might want to get a couple opinions before making a decision if you're really interested in true streetability.
Good luck!

I personally love the twin disc and would have anything else in a high HP car, now at the level youre at, 300-400HP, I think you would be fine with a 6 puck.
I run a twin disc Competition Clutch on the street and works great, the Exedy Twin Disc is plug and play though. Either will do you fine, if you want one just hit me up and I will give you a great deal on any Competiton Clutch or Exedy clutch
twins are a bit rough for street use. they're in or out and anything in between they chatter. same with a 4 puck. i ran a 8 puck double sided kevlar on my 400hp turbo bug with good results. it went ALOT of abuse and was still grabbing 4th gear chirps 6 months later. you have to pay attention to the pressure plate too, not just the disc. you'd be amazed at what a stock disc can do with a heavy presure plate.
Twin disc is really mnore streetable than a six puck or four puck HEAVY DUTY pressure plate clutch. A twin disc has a soft pedal feel but of course 2 puck discs, it is nogt that bad at all. I guess it isn't that bad for me sicne I was used to driving with a 6 puck heavy heavy duty pressure plate since almost 10 years back sooooo...........
