someone educate me, can you powdercoat any surface wheel? Like if I have some chrome wheels can I get just the center part coated a glossy black?

They can mask off any part you don't want coated, but I'd bet the chrome would have to be stripped before the powder is sprayed.

so its better to go with some polished rims? Im looking for that black 5star center polished deep lip look. Having a hard time finding things in my bolt pattern so I thought maybe I could just get some and get them painted locally.

All else being equal I'd go with the polished wheels for powdercoating.

I called them and they said $100 per wheel and it would take 5-6 days....

Really? Mine were only $50 per wheel. They did do it in about five days, though.

Maybe if you go in in person they'll take you more seriously give you a better price.
