If you're a fan of all motor, why even look at 4cylinders. Just get an LS1 and be done with it.

::scratch:: for like 3grand more you can get a car with a LSD, a engine that can handle 500whp w/ no work, a transmission proven to handle 600+whp w/ just an aftermarket clutch, and a car capable of running 11's with the cost of what a turbokit alone costs for a tC...you be the judge.

p.s. Haha, I know there's to many comparo threads, but I couldn't resist =x

Hmm....I thought he was talking about a S13 or S14 with a SR20DET. But you can get one with way more than 500hp with less than what it costs to buy that neon.

I would take a tC over a Neon, even if it's an SRT-4

maybe, but I think he was talking about something *New*- regardless you know what I'm going back to haha so I agree with you Tim

Theres always comparison threads and it all comes to personal preference, but for the price of a Tc and what other cars are IN that same class (civic, focus, cobalt, etc) I would say the Tc looks a hell of a lot better and performs higher than the above mentioned... Chris doesn't seem to WANT a turbo car, so the Tc would be a good option for him- someone wanting boost immediately, the Tc might not be thier best choice...like me haha

Nah, not an S13/14. I only compare 'new' car prices. If I wanted to buy a fast used car, would probably buy an LS1 over anything :P I'll give the tC looks good...that's about it...

If someones got the money to turbo a tC(let's not forget supporting mods and possibly building the engine), than 3grand shouldn't be to much an issue Anyways, isn't the supposed SC option for em that could possibly come out 1 day like a 4,000 dollar option?

I hated Scions at first, but the more and more I see a tC on the road, the more I find to like it. I wouldn't mind driving one as a beater between work and school. Turbo a tC? Ha. just get a used car and dump the rest on mods.
