Difference between specific and progressive rates?

 

I was thinking about those, but the sheer price difference is making me lean towards the Ford Racing at this point..

 

Specific rates have a single rate throughout the entire compression of the spring. Progressive springs get progressively stiffer as they get compressed more. Basically, a progressive spring will allow you a good ride while driving around town, but will give you some stiffness when you want to throw it into turns.

well if it was a honda i would say just get stock type-r springs..but since its not elibach sportline

 

Whats your budget?

 

Does H&R make them for the fox's. I think they lower the cars nicely.

 

H&R go real nice on a fox-I reccomend them or the racecraft springs.

 

Quality = Koni yellow single adjustables + H&R sport springs.

Cheap = KYB AGX + FMS C Springs.

My budget's whatever, but I don't like spending money on cars, so the cheaper the better I'll feel about myself.

haha thanks man. I'll look into the H&R's, but I really don't want to spend a buttload of money on something that I don't really give a fuck about.
