Re: Cycle whore thread

Straight distilled is bad since it'll leech minerals from the engine.

So water wetter had nasty crap in it, I've used Amsoil's version...

Re: What broke on your car today?

Try O'Reilly, seriously.

From RockAuto: I had TWO rear timken hubs with an indexed spot in rotation AND an SKF front wheel bearing with a bad tone wheel. Return was a PAIN and hey didn't believe...

Re: What broke on your car today?

Sounds like catch-up time for you with things like PCV (clogged can blow out seals, check breather too) and water pump and the like.

Re: Cars & Coffee Richmond Cancelled Indefinitely - or till they find another site

THIS. The pleebs are so against the police being present at the events when they'd be there to preserve the event and only be catching people being reckless. Makes no sense.

It's funny that Cars...

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

Yeah but it's going to have more area under the curve than most other 2L engines, which is what makes Mazdas bearable around town and in traffic. My girlfriend has the old 2L in her smiley face 3 and...

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

True 34 manual, 36 highway but premium gas? It's gotta be tuned more aggressively than the 2L in the 3 that only needs regular. Hopefully a little more poke.

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

Gah yeah you called it, but i remembered why: we get the 2L here so the US mx5 will get 36mpg but you won't have to downshift to pass when already going 65+ due to fun gearing. So they'll get 40+mpg...

Re: Local S2000/Ferrari F40 owners dicsussion thread

PM me with your details and I'll send them his way. Also when he comes to look at the car have him take you out in his new 3, the level of grip is ridiculous for a factory corolla contender.

Re: Local S2000/Ferrari F40 owners dicsussion thread

He says his cap is 14k, but if it were irresistible he'd go higher. There's one he found locally but the interior is blue, and when i say blue, it mean everything that could be a color is blue. It's...

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

SA-T will be in the next Speed 3
And the new MX5 is skyactive, it's the same engine as the base Mazda3.

The speed6 had a haldex system that was weak, but was still Mazda's fault. It didn't break...

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

Most of those have been replaced by another brand/model.

Saturn Sky.Pontiac Vert twins were outshined my miatas and s2000s that didn't sacrifice trunk space when the top was down.

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

You can't hate how a car drives without driving it. And if every single review about it holds true it'll be loads better than the original.

And if you're looking for that much power, you're not...

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade

I'll start to agree on an s2k, but the miata is 20k new, and if you want to be fair $70k worth does have 200 torque, because it's 3+ miatas. And if you made a miata with 200 torque, it's not a miata...
