Re: XJ650/Boulevard M50 bobber build thread

I also picked up this massive POS 82 XJ650 G50 yesterday for a build/restore. It doesn't run at the moment, previous owner claims it needs carb work, which it does. I already know the issue; XJ's...

XJ650/Boulevard M50 bobber build thread

So, recently I decided to give bikes a go and I am already in love. Keep in mind I have never even touched a motorcycle or ridden anything other than a 125cc dirt bike. So now you'll understand If...

Re: O2 Sensor question for new exhaust.

Out of all the aftermarket ones I've messed with, I've seen them raised. On my old pos TT I had a super thick exhaust for some odd reason. It pretty much acted as one of those 02 spacers because it...

Re: Dope status version 5.0

That actually looks extremely good. Very simple and clean, how it should be. If those were blended in it would almost look like it came that way. Very well done I will have to remember the company if...

Re: Dope status version 5.0

Not sure if I've ever seen those fenders, then again Z32's are more of a black sheep nowadays sadly so I don't see them really anyway. Ill have to look them up when I'm not on the work computer.

Re: Dope status version 5.0

I think he was referring to the one near the top of the page actually but maybe not lol.

I wish they would actually make some fenders to match and mold into the body lines. I hate the new style...

Re: Cycle whore thread

I was actually looking at the sv650s for a starter. I might sway towards one if I can find one that was pretty well taken care of. But of course I have time I still have to take the courses and...

Re: Cycle whore thread

What would you guys recommend as a good, used beginner bike? I keep finding mixed results. I'm not into blazing fast bikes or Harleys and I would be using it for gas mileage since I trek 60+ miles on...

Re: Honda S2000 misfire..

I have a friend that had the same problem as you. It ended up being his ECU, and once he bought another used one and put it on it stopped the problem.

I would try that, or check your timing.

Re: Official 757 Spotted Thread

Wow GTR's are becoming more common than seeing the native civics and integras running around it seems like. Anywho, passed an S10 Xtreme with a track or autocross setup on 64 by exit 234 and holy...

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

The one for 17k is actually a 94 gen 2. I wouldn't pay more than 6,000 for a good MRS.

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

I've been seriously thinking about getting a spyder as a daily. Engines are unstoppable and you can swap in a 2zz pretty easy. They are also rumored to handle as good as the MK1's.

There is a...

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

I haven't seen your car at Springfest yet and I've been the last few times. I'll figure something out with the sub-frame I really haven't gotten a chance to get underneath yet. I'm trying to take the...

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

I haven't seen that MR2 before because usually you see builds like that all over the forums. People swap in 2GR's all the time now along with the 1mz and such.

Well worst case scenario came up, I...

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

Thanks Yard. Yes I didn't believe it until I actually looked it up. That would explain why its a common problem. Its in a tough spot and I'm pretty sure the sub-frame is actually a structural piece...

Re: My 93 MR2 restore tread

It is sad and I feel if they try to revamp some of these hero cars it might just be an utter failure. I just bought practically all maintenance items (K&N air filter, bosch fuel and oil filter, Denso...
